This Passive House in Point Grey, Vancouver, embraces innovative design solutions to overcome site constraints and meet stringent energy standards. A transparent curtain wall and dual-level rooftop gardens maximize ocean views, while a split-level layout integrates with the terrain, enhancing social spaces. A central atrium with skylights and a suspended staircase ensure natural light and energy efficiency.

Benefiting from Vancouver’s Passive House incentives, the project achieves R39 wall and R73 roof insulation, 0.6 ACH airtightness, and high-performance windows (0.89 USI)—far exceeding standard homes.

Redefining Passive House aesthetics, this project challenges the "closed box" stereotype, demonstrating that energy-efficient buildings can be both functional and architecturally inspiring.
